"Knowledge is better than riches". What does that African Proverb mean to you? How can it be used in your everyday life? Give an example.
I feel that the African Proverb "Knowledge is better than riches" means that your education is way more important than money. For example, you can have all the money in the world but not know anything. Just because you have more money than someone that doesn't mean your better than them. In fact the person with the money won't be the one getting the good job. The boss won't want to hire the dumb one. Maybe the rich person thinks just because they have more money than the person with knowledge they will get the job. As a result they will be the one without the job because even though they can go everywhere and buy everything they still don't have any knowledge. Furthermore, money doesn't mean anything if you don't have a brain to go with it. Clearly knowledge is MORE important than money.
