Visual Dictionary

Students will use Photoshop to illustrate a word from the dictionary.
To resize an image:
1.Choose edit rom the main menu.
2.Select transform.
3.Choose scale.
4.Hold the shift key and grab the corner edge of your image.
To copy an image rom the internet:
1.Find an image
2.Hold down the CTRL key.
3.Click image w/ mouse
4.Select 'copy image'
To paste an image into Photoshop:
1.Choose edit from menu
2.Select paste.

2.google.com
To save your artwork as a jpeg:
1.Choose file from main menu
2.Choose save as
3.From the format drop down box choose JPEG.
4.Name document(no spaces)
5.Save
To crop an object:
1.Use magnetic lasso tool.
2.Once you have the marching ants around your object hold down the apple key and tapt the letter "c" to copy.
3.Hold down the aplle key and tap "V" to paste.
4.Hide original layer.
